About
Local Pulse Nepal helps residents rate everyday public systems and report local issues. The data creates a “civic pulse” that communities and decision-makers can act on.
We focus on 10 everyday systems: Roads, Water, Waste, Healthcare, Safety, Education, Public Transport, Electricity, Internet, and Parks.
Scores are simple 1–5 ratings. We aggregate them into a city score and per-category views.
Ratings are quick sliders. Issues are geo-tagged pins with a title and optional photo. You can post anonymously. We throttle spam via gentle daily quotas.
City scores update in real time. Duplicate issues are detected to keep the map clean.
We store the minimum required to operate the service. Public content (ratings & issues) is visible by design. See the Privacy page for details on analytics and retention.
Local Pulse Nepal is a community-driven project. We welcome collaboration with local governments, civic groups, researchers, and volunteers.
