Privacy
This page explains what we collect, what we don’t, and how we use information.
What we collect
- Account basics (from your sign-in provider): name, email, photo URL.
- Ratings and issue posts you submit (public by design).
- Approximate device data (standard logs) to keep the service reliable and secure.
- Optional analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand usage patterns.
What we don’t collect
- No precise background location tracking.
- No sensitive personal attributes.
- No sale of personal data.
How we use data
- Display public civic signals (scores, issues) and keep rankings fresh.
- Prevent abuse and enforce fair daily quotas.
- Improve product UX via aggregate, anonymized analytics.
Retention
Public posts are retained to preserve the civic record unless they violate our Terms or a valid removal request is received. Account data may be deleted upon request—contact us via the Contact page.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 with basic events (page views, rating submitted, issue created). You can block analytics via standard browser or extension settings.
